Responsibilities
- Provide chair‑side assisting to Dental Officers or volunteer Dentists for various dental procedures.
- Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
- Maintain and achieve high infection control protocols and service standards.
- Comply with work safety regulations in the handling of dental instruments and equipment.
- Perform daily maintenance and cleanliness of the dental clinic.
- Manage and schedule patients’ appointments.
- Attend to patient queries including knowledge and pricing of various subsidy levels for different groups.
- Handle billing and make CHAS claims.
- Maintain proper usage and inventory record of equipment and stock supplies and ensure proper use and maintenance of dental equipment, instruments and other fixed assets.
