What role you will play in our team The role primarily focuses on assessing the construction and performance of mine structures while ensuring the safety of mining operations. The Geotechnical Field Engineer is responsible for understanding geotechnical requirements and constraints related to the construction of both in‑pit and out‑of‑pit structures, as well as associated monitoring requirements.
This is a dynamic and fast‑paced role that involves close collaboration with both Operations and Mine Technical teams, including site‑based and Calgary‑based personnel.
This position is based at the Kearl Mine Site and follows a 14‑days‑on / 14‑days‑off fly‑in, fly‑out schedule (consisting of 12‑hour workdays).
