Itinerant Teacher - Blind and Low Vision (Blind Part 1 required) This posting is open to ELEMENTARY CONTRACT teachers. The duties and responsibilities of this position may be subject to change, further to confirmation of transfer payment details from the Ministry of Education.Under the direction of the Superintendent of Learning Support Services (LSS) and the supervision of the Principal and Manager of LSS, the Itinerant Teacher - Blind and Low Vision will collaborate with a central team, school based teams and members of LSS to develop and implement inclusive education practices for students with a variety of exceptionalities.. In this position, educators will require an understanding of the fundamental principles of inclusive education and identifying ways to remove barriers while supporting all learners within a community school.
