AC TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot AC units efficiently
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems
• Clean and replace air filters, coils, ducts and other AC components
• Install and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats and refrigerant lines
• Check refrigerant levels and recharge systems when required
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns
• Maintain accurate service records and submit work reports
• Use tools and equipment safely and keep the work area clean and organized
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete assigned tasks on time
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude while working on-site
