Job Summary:
The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the company’s general ledger. The role ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and reported in compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements. This position plays a key role in month‑end closing, financial reporting, audit support, and continuous process improvement. The position also ensures regulatory compliance.
Perform timely and accurate month‑end close activities in accordance with the established closing calendar and corporate deadlines. 
Prepare and post standard and complex journal entries, including accruals, provisions, reclassifications, and recurring entries.
Reviews monthly P&L analysis and balance sheet trend reviews. 
Performs periodic Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
