Job Summary
The Accounting Assistant is responsible to supporting daily accounting operations, including invoice processing, tax documentation, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. This role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with company policies and Philippines statutory requirements, timely processing of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and related transactions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting, GL Reconciliation & Closing Support
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and perform General Ledger (GL) reconciliations on a monthly basis, including bank accounts, AP, AR, accruals, prepayments, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
