Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing accounting functions and activities.
• Formulate accounting policies and establish internal control system. Determine improvement in the accounting process flows for continuous system refinement.
• Compute tax on fringe benefits received by supervisors and managers for the month and prepare journal entries related thereto.
• Determine monthly accrual of employee benefits and prepare journal entries related thereto.
• Reconcile monthly cash balances per bank and per books.
• Calculate cost of goods manufactured and sold for the month and prepare journal entries related thereto.
• Determine revaluation of inventories based on lower of cost or market price. Prepare journal entries, if necessary.
• Calculate and accrue quarterly and annual corporate income tax.
• Process payroll for Japanese expatriates.
