Job Description
- Maintain and analyze cost accounting records, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Monitor inventory costs and perform periodic reconciliations of stock levels.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, for manufacturing operations.
- Track production expenses and assess cost variances for raw materials, production, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to develop budgets and cost reduction strategies.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings specific to manufacturing operations.
- Perform audits and implement internal controls to maintain financial accuracy and minimize errors.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
