Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Identify potential cash flow issues and financial irregularities.
  • Coordinate with department heads to monitor and maintain budget adherence.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely payment of company taxes.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Supervise and guide accounting clerks and junior staff.
  • Provide regular financial updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting laws and regulations.
