Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Payment Analyst with remittance preparation (CRA, RQ, WCB / WSIB, EHT).
  • Create and maintain predictive and other analytical tools and reports to support the Payroll function.
  • Review, research, and respond to complete all assigned service request tickets for the Payroll team.
  • Identify, implement, and document process improvements and assist with payroll system testing.
  • Work collaboratively with other Payroll team members to support and share best practices.
  • Execute special projects and ad‑hoc reporting as assigned by the Payroll Manager and above.
  • Assist with payroll training and create or update payroll documentation.
  • Lead and assist in year‑end balancing and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience processing payroll using a payroll management or HRIS system.
  • Strong computing skills, including MS Office.
