Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Payment Analyst with remittance preparation (CRA, RQ, WCB / WSIB, EHT).
- Create and maintain predictive and other analytical tools and reports to support the Payroll function.
- Review, research, and respond to complete all assigned service request tickets for the Payroll team.
- Identify, implement, and document process improvements and assist with payroll system testing.
- Work collaboratively with other Payroll team members to support and share best practices.
- Execute special projects and ad‑hoc reporting as assigned by the Payroll Manager and above.
- Assist with payroll training and create or update payroll documentation.
- Lead and assist in year‑end balancing and reporting.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience processing payroll using a payroll management or HRIS system.
- Strong computing skills, including MS Office.
