Role: Activities Assistant
Location: Kenwith Castle Care Home, Bideford EX39 5BE
Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week (with alternate weekend working)
Shift Pattern: Working across 4 or 5 days, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Assistant to join the team at Kenwith Castle, our residential care home, located in Bideford. In this role you will be responsible for helping to plan and deliver an ongoing programme of social activities for the home’s residents.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of a varied and engaging programme of social and therapeutic activities tailored to residents’ interests and needs, including those living with dementia.
• Helping to plan and run a calendar of events that promotes wellbeing, connection, and enjoyment.
