The Role
- To facilitate the provision of flexible support and the development of learning opportunities for students with a wide range of learning needs including ASD, ADHD, OCD, visual and hearing impairments, dyslexia, physical needs and dyscalculia.
- To maintain clear and accurate systems of records in order to review learning needs, set targets in respect of Additional Learning Support and support student progress towards achieving their minimum target grades.
- To liaise with curriculum staff about how best to support teaching and learning to ensure that an individual student's need and development are met. This may include differentiating material, enlarging resources, reading and note taking.
