Position Details:
Kilgore College is seeking a passionate and experienced Percussion Instructor to join our Music Department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction to students of varying skill levels, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The Percussion Instructor will be responsible for teaching individual lessons to music majors and non-majors, preparing students for performances and auditions, planning and executing recitals and other performances, and contributing to the development of the music program.
Responsibilities:
+ Direct the Kilgore College Percussion Ensemble
+ Provide individual lessons to students at different levels of proficiency
+ Work in close collaboration with the Director of Bands to provide sectionals on an as-needed basis, including during the marching band summer camp
