Administrative Assistant – Care at Home

We’re looking for an organised, approachable and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our friendly Care at Home team, supporting the delivery of essential services to people in their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and support Care at Home Officers and Coordinators with day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
  • Record weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring mileage claims are correct and sent to the pay unit on time.
  • Order and maintain stock of PPE, uniforms and stationery.
  • Type letters, arrange meetings, maintain records and files and update service user and staff databases, including inputting information on CM2000.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administration – especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong IT and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle priorities in a busy office.
