Advanced Language Practice IV: Written

DutiesAll normal duties related to the design and teaching of a University credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; out-of-class interactions with students via e-mail and office hours; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; ordering all necessary readings. Minimum Qualifications Graduate-level research in French literary studies, comparative literature involving French or a related field. Demonstrated experience teaching advanced, university-level French-as-a-second-language courses. (Near-)native spoken & written French competence. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated excellence in teaching this course or a closely related course.Relevant CriterionPast teaching experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
