Role
Advanced Practitioner in the Children and Young People’s Service within Barnsley Children and Family Social Care.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Practice Development Hub to deliver the Social Work Academy offer, supporting and mentoring Newly Qualified Social Workers through their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment.
- Working alongside the team manager to drive best practice and support learning and development within the team.
- A manageable reduced caseload.
Qualifications
- Qualified social worker with a Social Work Qualification.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Self‑motivated and innovative in intervention with families.
- Experience of working in statutory children’s social work, including child protection and court arena.
