Maintenance Technician

Job Purpose
To ensure the care home is safe, well‑maintained, and fully operational at all times, supporting a comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors through effective maintenance and upkeep of the building and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the care home, including plumbing, basic electrics, decorating, and joinery.
- Ensure all areas of the home are clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular checks and inspections of equipment, systems, and the building to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests from staff to minimise disruption to residents.
