Take charge of surface mining at Agnico Eagle. Position focuses on leadership in mining services and strategic management of ore transportation operations.
As the Surface Manager, you will report to the General Manager, leading both the mining services and ore transportation teams. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to the mine plan as well as setting and meeting key performance metrics. Your role will also emphasize contractor management and support for various projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct oversight of ore transportation and maintenance services
• Establish effective communication with senior management
• Participate in budget planning and mine planning exercises
• Support strategic construction and business improvement projects
