Job Overview
The Fleet Engineer reports to the Airbus Technical Fleet Manager – Fleet Management and is responsible for the compliance of applicable CAR‑AIR – ODS, CAR M and CAR 145 requirements to ensure continuing airworthiness and maintain the high aircraft safety standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Review all Airbus related Airworthiness Directives and mandatory Service Bulletins for the Etihad Airways Fleet, ensuring that all mandatory modifications are properly assessed, performed and complied with in a timely manner.
- Work with OEMs, MROs and internal departments to improve fleet reliability, on‑time performance and cost efficiency.
- Create business cases for modifications and facilitate decision making in the Modification Review Committee.
- Compile Engineering Orders, Special Checks and Additional Engineering Requirements for modification, aircraft status assessment for reliability and safety issues.
