About the Role

Summit Air is an aviation operator based in Yellowknife, NT, providing passenger charter, cargo, and specialized aviation solutions across Canada.

What You'll Do

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fleet aircraft in compliance with Transport Canada standards and company procedures.
  • Sign off on maintenance releases, taking responsibility for work performed per licence privileges.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems, diagnose complex defects using sound judgement and technical skill.
  • Inspect and certify replacement parts before installation.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, defect reports, and technical logs.
  • Participate in Summit Air's Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Assurance programs.
  • Mentor apprentice AMEs and junior technicians where applicable.
