Analyst Resource and Capacity Planning

This position can be based in Calgary or Kansas City.

Purpose of the position

The Analyst, Resource and Capacity Planning role enables decision‑making by aligning demand and resource strategies to deliver an integrated, forward‑looking view of network capacity and capability. The role leads the development and evolution of planning models, scenario analyses, and strategic insights to assess alternative models and articulate the value of change.

Position accountabilities

• Prepare monthly, annual, and multi‑year resource planning forecasts, including train and crew starts, locomotive productivity and requirements, track capacity needs, and key performance indicators.
• Analyze operational data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business performance assumptions.
