Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and well-informed Animal Production Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of contract grow-out farms. This role focuses on maintaining optimal swine health, ensuring proper feeding and biosecurity practices, monitoring inventory accuracy, and coordinating effectively with suppliers, veterinary teams, and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of contract grow-out farms, ensuring adherence to correct feeding routines, medication protocols, biosecurity procedures, and proper waste management.
- Monitor hog inventory, including population counts, mortality, transfers, and sales, through consistent daily and weekly reporting.
- Coordinate feed requirements and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and maintain quality and quantity standards.
