Application Engineer

What you'll do:· Design, test and release production seatbelt system designs· Manage the release of the design through the Autoliv design change process· Position requires ability to manage Customer relationships related to product development and implementation.
· Engineering background with good problem‐solving skills, hands‐on approach to development, testing, sample builds, teardowns, developing fixtures for testing and developing new test methodology.
· Active member of cross‐functional team of design engineers, purchasing, quality, process and launch engineers.
· Work closely with Program Management as point contact to customers.
· Release internal component drawings, assembly drawings and customer drawings.
· Support the Autoliv Product Development System by releasing engineering documents related to product design/development such as DFMEA's, DV/PV test reports, etc.
