Application Technician

A client is seeking a highly capable Application Technician to take ownership of on‑site deployment, testing, and optimisation of advanced explosive technology within a mining environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can confidently lead implementation at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead on‑site project work including implementation, testing, and commissioning of explosive technology
• Act as the technical authority during deployments, trials, and product introductions
• Define and optimise application methodologies to improve performance and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering and development teams
• Provide hands‑on training and technical guidance to site teams and customers
• Collect and analyse performance data to support continuous improvement and product validation
