A team of 18 experienced engineers located in Hamburg, Høvik (Norway), and Gdynia (Poland)
Close collaboration across borders in a professional, service-oriented setting
Exposure to global customers, surveyors, and expert networks
Work that combines technical depth, rule development, and practical problem-solving
The section covers:
Metallic materials
Welding technologies
Non‑metallic materials used in the maritime industry
Your Key Responsibilities
As an Approval Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across the industry. Your tasks will include:
Approval and certification of manufacturers of metallic materials
Technical support to customers and DNV’s global surveyor network
