Job Description
Overview
The Architectural Draftsman Specialist supports facility planning, design, construction, and compliance by converting legacy 2D architectural documentation into accurate, data-rich 3D Revit models and maintaining those models to reflect existing conditions and approved design intent.
Responsibilities
+ Convert legacy 2D AutoCAD drawings, floor plans, and building layouts into coordinated 3D Revit models in accordance with established Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards.
+ Develop, organize, and maintain Revit models including architectural elements, rooms and spaces, levels, grids, and building components.
+ Transfer and validate data from 2D drawings into Revit, ensuring accuracy of geometry, room boundaries, departments, square footage, volumes, and spatial relationships.
