4 Month Contract With A Local Authority Job Purpose As a Registered Building Inspector (RBI), to carry out restricted functions and activities in accordance with the postholder's registration class and level of competence. To provide management and control in the administration and enforcement of the Building Safety Act, Building Act, Building Regulations, London Building Acts and associated legislation, ensuring the protection of public health and safety within the built environment across the Borough. The postholder will undertake technical assessments, inspections and regulatory decision-making activities to deliver an effective Building Control service, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and relevant regulatory standards.
