Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assigned chemical processes, including hand‑over, documentation, vessel cleaning, pre‑batch checks, charging vessels, post‑charge verification, adjusting process conditions, sampling and testing, transfer of process streams, and monitoring with DCS and manual observations.
• Record operational and analytical data, inform the Shift Production Lead of abnormalities, maintain PPE, material segregation, and label containers.
• Conduct routine checks and cleaning procedures for both process and facilities as required.
• Obtain and verify materials, monitor material stock, and notify the Lead of shortages or supply abnormalities.
• Notify the Lead of maintenance requirements, prepare equipment for maintenance work (depressurizing, cleaning, de‑energizing).
• Conduct on‑the‑job training of other Chemical Technicians and perform material handling duties including forklift/reach‑truck operations.
