Overview
Aspiring Child Counsellor role at Woking, supporting vulnerable students aged 4-19 with special educational needs (SEN) and associated social, emotional and mental health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Support students with SEN and related challenges, identifying risks and needs and escalating when necessary.
- Provide consistent support and equip children with tools to feel safe, secure, and empowered.
- Engage students to improve attainment and life chances.
- Participate in on‑site training, support and CPD to perform duties and safeguard all students.
Qualifications
- Degree or advanced study in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Social Science, or a related field.
- GCSE in English and Maths.
- No previous professional experience required.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to commute to Woking.
