Assistant Manager Accounts Payable

AP Accountant is responsible for running accounts payable and taxation function for the organization; working under Payment & Taxation Manager. While ensuring the vendors and employees are paid on a timely manner, adequate controls and compliances to processes have to be ensured.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts in accordance with company policies
• Record daily financial transactions including receipts, and payments
• Prepare journal entries into the accounting system
• Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of vendor payments
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer balances
• Perform periodic bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Calculate and file taxes (Income Tax and Sales Tax) in compliance with Federal Board of Revenue and SRB regulations
