Overview
Leonardo has an exciting opportunity within the Operations Planning function for an Assistant Planning Manager who will report to the Line of Business Planning Manager. Onsite training is required, after which the employee can work a couple of days from home.
Responsibilities
- Support the Planning Manager and Assistant Planning Managers to ensure the integrity and achievability of the Master Production Schedule (MPS), engaging with all key stakeholders.
- Optimise plant and project inventory, deliver reviews and changes on safety time/stock, and manage the dead‑stock process.
- Monitor and manage demand variability for internal make and external supply items, maintaining supply‑chain master data.
- Support the cleanup of overdue supply and late‑to‑place (LTP) requisitions, working with procurement to achieve demand management.
