Associate, Commodities (2-4 PQE)

We are seeking a talented Associate (2–4 PQE) to join our growing Commodities practice in Brisbane, working closely with and a highly regarded team operating across the global Kennedys platform.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to matters at the intersection of commodities, energy and insurance, including significant business interruption and major loss claims across sectors such as construction, energy and agriculture, as well as trade credit claims.

The role will have a primary focus on commodities-related work (approximately 80%), complemented by exposure to broader general insurance matters (approximately 20%), offering a well-rounded and marketable skillset.

You'll also benefit from access to Kennedys' global cross-border disputes capability, allowing you to build valuable experience in cross-jurisdictional commodities and trade disputes, without needing to relocate from Brisbane.
