   OVERVIEW  
  JOB PURPOSE: 
 The Associate Counsel, Licensing & Accreditation is responsible for developing, drafting, and revising content to support the Law Society’s licensing and program accreditation processes. Associate Counsel works closely with the Senior Counsel & Manager, Entry Level Competence, team members and other employees to review and implement processes to support changes to licensing process protocols and policies and maintain defensibility of entrance requirements. Associate Counsel also participates in drafting and revising existing policies and content related to new initiatives and projects.
  QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: 
 An LLB or JD, plus a Class L1 licence with Law Society of Ontario*
 A minimum of 3 years’ experience either practicing law or working in the area of legal professional development
