Other key responsibilities include: Overseeing the associate recruiting function for the assigned office or region, including the recruitment of summer associates, fall associates, judicial clerks (as applicable), and lateral associates.
Serving as a trusted advisor to firm leadership and partners by providing market intelligence (including, without limitation, hiring trends, competitor recruiting practices, and compensation), strategic guidance, and tailored recruiting strategies that support firmwide and regional growth objectives.
Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to recruit qualified associate candidates at both the entry and lateral levels, and managing the recruitment process from inception through completion.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with search firms, law schools, and other industry partners to enhance the firm's brand, competitive position, and recruiting outcomes.
