Attendance Counsellor Resource Developer - Summer Position

Location: To be determined

Hours: To be determined at the time of hire (minimum of 35 hours and maximum of 60 hours throughout the duration of the designated project)

Anticipated Start Date: July 13, 2026

Anticipated End Date: August 21, 2026

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Education in social services or related field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop mental health‑informed attendance resources to support student re-engagement.
  • Create parent/guardian materials linking attendance, well‑being, and available supports.
  • Design tools for early identification, wellness check‑ins, and brief interventions.
  • Support development of referral processes to connect students to mental health services.
  • Contribute to attendance protocols with a trauma‑informed and equity lens.
