Summary There is an anticipated vacancy for the position of ATTORNEY ADVISOR (GENERAL) in the JUDGE ADVOCATE DIVISION (JAD) of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will serve as the primary professional attorney and policy proponent for the rules of professional conduct governing Marine Corps military and civilian lawyers, paralegals, and non-lawyer legal staff. You will assess professional responsibility investigations, handle inquiries into alleged misconduct or mismanagement, coordinate appropriate notifications to state licensing authorities, and respond to third-party requests for information. You will help manage and implement the Marine Corps ethics program, including the review and maintenance of public and confidential financial disclosure reports, oversight of general officer and spouse travel, and review of gifts to the Marine Corps.
