JOB OVERVIEW
As an AU Intermediate Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining key accounting records. Day-to-day activities include recording transactions such as income and outgoings and posting them to various accounts. Having a broad and varied role, you will need a strong sense of time management and organisational skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter and categorize transactions using the Xero software
- Collect, organise, and upload source documents (such as invoices, receipts, statements)
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and process payroll for small business clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and deadlines
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts weekly
- Assist with BAS and IAS preparation
