Role Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the technician is responsible for installing and repairing equipment at the customer's site and providing technical support by phone or email.
Description of Activities and Responsibilities
- Respond to service calls on the road.
- Perform repairs in the shop.
- Be available to periodically perform 24-hour service on-call shifts.
- Meet with customers to resolve problems.
- Diagnose technical problems.
- Replace equipment or return defective parts for repair.
- Perform tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist customers in using their recent equipment.
- Prepare the necessary materials in the truck as needed.
- Provide technical support by email or phone.
- Calibrate machines.
- Perform maintenance tasks on electronic and mechanical equipment.
- All other related tasks.
