Job Description
Summary
The Automation Technician maintains and troubleshoots automated production equipment to support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and automated equipment
· Support production by quickly resolving automation-related downtime
· Perform preventive maintenance on control systems
· Assist with equipment upgrades and process improvements
· Follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures
Qualifications:
· Technical degree or equivalent automation experience
· Experience with PLCs and industrial electrical systems
· Ability to read electrical schematics
· Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
