Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities
• Test design & execution – Define test plans and author & execute test
cases for Appian applications across functional, regression and UAT cycles.
• Automation – Build and maintain automated tests using FitNesse for Appian,
Cucumber, and Appian Selenium APIs; contribute to regression packs and
platform-release regression runs.
• Defect management – Raise, triage, track and retest defects (Jira),
collaborating closely with developers and SMEs; participate in daily defect
triage forums.
• Test data & environments – Prepare test data; coordinate environment
readiness and execution scheduling for SIT/IAT/UAT (including daily execution
reporting).
• API & data validation – Validate REST/SOAP APIs and data integrity using
SQL and tooling; confirm end-to-end flows across integrated systems.
• Reporting & CI – Publish execution/automation results and support CI jobs
for scheduled runs.
