Automotive spray painter

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure a flawless foundation for paint application.
• Accurately mix paint colors to match existing finishes or customer specifications using color‑matching systems and extensive knowledge of paint formulations.
• Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats with precision using spray guns, achieving uniform coverage and desired sheen.
• Operate and maintain spray booths and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and a dust‑free environment for superior results.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or certification in automotive refinishing is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as an automotive spray painter.
• Demonstrated expertise in various paint systems (e.g., waterborne, solvent‑borne) and application techniques.
