Backend API Engineer / Data Engineer About the role As a Backend API Engineer / Data Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and building scalable, event-driven backend services that power enterprise-grade data integration platforms. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and collaborate closely with application, platform, and integration teams to enable seamless data orchestration, validation, and routing across systems. 
In this role, you will: Design and develop internal RESTful and event-driven APIs to support enterprise data processing workflows 
Build backend services to validate, transform, and enrich incoming data while orchestrating routing across systems 
Develop file-based ingestion pipelines, including parsing complex files, splitting records, and distributing workloads to downstream systems
