Position Overview
Backend Platform Engineer – Contract, 12‑month duration in the BFSI domain.
Location: Toronto, ON. Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in office.
Pay Rate: CAD 50‑52/hr. Application Deadline: May 18th, 2026.
Skills Required
- Backend Developer with Platform Engineering expertise
- Experience with Backstage
- Strong experience in data systems, backend services, and modern platform tools, with exposure to GenAI‑driven applications
- Positive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Enterprise ETL frameworks and data migration
- Good understanding of GenAI platforms, RAG, and prompt engineering concepts
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence
