Job Purpose
The Bar Captain oversee daily bar operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and well‑stocked bar area. Also assist with restaurant services when required.
Job Summary- To ensure that guest service is delivered in an efficient and friendly manner using guest names whenever possible.
- To check bar and inventory stock prior to opening, for cleanliness of tables and chairs, and to do all necessary opening/closing duties according to the side work schedule.
- To use suggestive selling techniques when taking guests’ orders; and to develop a good knowledge of food, beverage, liquor and wine service.
- To be able to prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with SOPs set.
- To pick up and present food and beverages as well as bus, clean and reset tables according to standard operating procedures.
