Bioinformatics Specialist | $90/hr Remote | Mercor Join us at Crossing Hurdles to work as a referral partner for Mercor, collaborating with world‑leading AI research labs to build and train cutting‑edge AI models.

Position : Bioinformatics PhDs 
Referral Partner : Crossing Hurdles 
Type : Hourly Contract 
Compensation : $60–$90/hour 
Location : Remote 
Commitment : Part‑time (10–40 hours/week) 
Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided) Develop benchmark tasks to evaluate AI models’ abilities to autonomously design and execute complex bioinformatics workflows. 
Work with raw sequencing data and natural language prompts to simulate real‑world bioinformatics scenarios. 
Apply tool proficiency, deep biological knowledge, and rigorous scientific reasoning to create and validate these benchmarks.
