Job Description
Lead construction efforts with Bird Construction as a Site Supervisor based in Victoria, BC. Drive project delivery through effective management and strategic planning at the site.
This permanent position reports to the Construction Manager, focusing on site supervision and stakeholder engagement. Ideal candidates will demonstrate contract administration experience, scheduling abilities, and strong leadership. You will also work on pre-construction planning and oversee daily construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and organize construction operations daily
• Maintain and track the master project schedule
• Execute quality management and safety programs
• Manage site logistics and subcontractor activities
• Lead field level hazard assessments and toolbox talks
Requirements:
• 10 years’ experience in construction, preferably in specific sectors
• Degree or diploma in relevant field
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, and budgeting
