The Strategic area manager is accountable for both strategical and tactical decisions and actions for the area program.

The strategy aspects of these decisions must consider multidimensional impacts beyond the near‑term delivery.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning the delivery of the overall area program and its activities in accordance with the strategy of the area program to proactively support the overall long‑term goal of the company.
• Identify needs and opportunities within the specific area and develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the company.
• In cooperation with resource owners secure resources for the area program activities.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members and other stakeholders.
• Actively drive area‑specific insights and activities globally by using internal and external networks.
