Body Design & Release Engineer JR (CLOUSERS)

The Body D&R Engineer will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and production release for some of the following functions: door glass, door modules, hard tops, soft top or tonneaus exposure, Body-in-white / Body closure sheet metal and hinging. Responsibilities will include interface and coordinating the packaging with product design office, vehicle development, other Exterior and Body Engineering teams, all adjacent departments (electromechanical, electrical, lighting, trim); and suppliers to design, develop and release these components/systems . The Engineer will provide feasibility input for development of designs from Product Design Office (PDO) concepts, sketches, and clay model s. To develop functional objectives, build objectives, DVP&R / DFMEA & manage the production supplier to meet all requirements.
