Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit statements for review and compliance with Australian tax regulations.
  • Utilize billing and financial management tasks.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts using Xero.
  • Assist with general bookkeeping duties, including payroll support and expense tracking.
  • Generate financial reports and provide insights to support business decision‑making.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Pursue overdue invoices via calls and emails to secure timely payment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role previously with Australian based companies.
  • Experience preparing BAS statements in accordance with Australian tax requirements.
