Job Description
A Senior Building Inspector is responsible to review and inspect commercial buildings for adherence to safety codes and regulations. Ensures buildings conform to local, state and federal codes and regulations.
+ Inspects buildings for compliance with building codes, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety systems.
+ Reads and interprets building codes, standards, drawings, instructions, and specifications.
+ Identifies, records and reports deviations from codes and standards.
+ Communicates with building owners and facility managers regarding code compliance, inspection procedures and related items.
+ Ensures speedy execution of inspections and reporting.
+ Experienced with traditional and modular inspections and plan review
+ Travel 25-50%+ (Domestic/International)
+ Educate and influence Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) as needed.
